Politicians don’t end up on the Okies First Watch List by accident. They land there when their actions consistently work against the best interests of everyday Oklahomans. A politician may be added to the Watch List if they:
Vote Against Oklahomans’ Needs – Supporting bills that hurt public schools, rural hospitals, working families, or basic freedoms.
Choose Donors Over Voters – Prioritize lobbyists, special interests, or dark money groups instead of the people they represent.
Spread Harmful Misinformation – Use their platform to mislead Oklahomans, stir up fear, or distort the truth for political gain.
Ignore Accountability – Refuse to answer to their constituents, dodge tough questions, or hide their records and decisions.
Engage in Corruption or Ethical Concerns – Show patterns of unethical behavior, self-dealing, or abuse of power.
The Watch List is updated as new votes, actions, and public records come out. If a politician changes course and starts consistently putting Oklahomans first, we’ll note that too.
